Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Run window in 1/2 down position.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear Removal.
3. Remove the inside weather-strip around the window.




4. Remove the water deflector.




5. Remove the rear window run channel and weather-strip.




6. Remove the rear window glass. Refer to Window - Rear Door Removal.
7. Remove the window regulator bolts.
8. Remove the window regulator.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the window regulator and tighten the bolts.

Tighten the rear window regulator bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the window glass by tilting the rear of the window up and slide down into the guides in the regulator channel.
3. Install the weather-strip.




4. Install the rear window guide.

Tighten the lower rear window guide to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





5. Install the water deflector.
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel - Rear Installation.
7. Run window in up position and check operation. If binding exists, inspect all weather stripping.
