REMOVAL




1. Pull on rear seat cushion retainer straps while pulling up on rear seat cushion to disengage rear seat cushion from floor.
2. Remove rear seat cushion from vehicle.




3. Remove rear seat bolster.
a. Reach down into corner of rear seat cushion to expose bolster retaining tab.
b. Bend bolster retaining tab upward.
c. Lower rear seat back.
d. Starting at bottom, pull forward to disengage bolster from retaining tab then pull upward to disengage upper attachment.




4. Remove child comfort guide from shoulder belt.
5. Remove rear seat shoulder belt to floor fastener.




6. Remove rear seat shoulder belt upper fastener cover to expose rear seat shoulder belt upper fastener.
7. Remove rear shoulder belt upper fastener.




8. Remove cargo cover by sliding cover retractor unit towards right side of vehicle and lifting up on retractor unit.




9. Remove cargo area side trim by pulling at clip locations.




10. Partially remove cargo area carpet to expose rear seat shoulder belt retractor fastener access hole.
11. Remove rear seat shoulder belt retractor fastener and remove retractor.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: APPLY LOCTITE(R) 242 THREADLOCKER OR EQUIVALENT TO ALL RESTRAINT FASTENERS BEFORE INSTALLING THEM.

1. Install rear seat shoulder belt retractor to vehicle with retractor fastener.

Torque: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)




2. Install rear seat shoulder belt to C-pillar with shoulder belt upper fastener.

Torque: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)

3. Snap rear seat shoulder belt upper fastener cover to shoulder belt.




4. Install rear seat shoulder belt to floor with shoulder belt fastener.

Torque: 35 N.m (26 ft-lbs)

5. Install cargo area carpet.




6. Install cargo area side trim by pushing at clip locations.




7. Position weatherstrip over cargo side trim.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT IS NOT CAUGHT BEHIND BOLSTER WHEN INSTALLING BOLSTER.




8. Install rear seat bolster.
a. Position bolster onto upper bolster attachment.
b. Push down on bolster to engage upper attachment and push bolster back over retaining tab.
c. Bend retaining tab down to fasten bolster.




10. Raise rear seat back.
11. Position rear seat cushion into vehicle.
12. Route center seat belts though rear seat cushion openings.
13. Snap rear seat cushion into attaching retainers.
14. Pull up on seat to ensure seat is properly installed.




15. If a new rear seat shoulder belt has been installed, remove shipping clip from shoulder belt webbing.
16. Install child comfort guide to shoulder belt.
17. Function rear seat shoulder belt to ensure proper operation.
