Harmonic Balancer - Crankshaft Pulley: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove accessory drive belt. Refer to "Accessory Drive Belt Replacement".

NOTICE: Removal of the engine mount is not necessary, because the drive belt does not have to be removed from vehicle.

4. Remove crankshaft balancer bolts.
5. Remove crankshaft balancer front the crankshaft drive gear.

REMOVAL





1. Install crankshaft balancer front the crankshaft drive gear.
2. Install crankshaft balancer bolts.
- Torque: 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
3. Install accessory drive belt. Refer to "Accessory Drive Belt Replacement".
4. Install air cleaner assembly.
5. Connect negative battery cable.
