Door Lock Cylinder - All

REMOVAL
1. Ensure window is in full-up position.
2. Remove front door outer panel.
3. Remove door sound deadener panel at rear.
4. Remove lock rod from latch mechanism.
5. Remove clip and lock cylinder.

INSTALLATION
1. Install lock cylinder and clip.

IMPORTANT: The lock rod retainers used in the door lock levers and mechanisms are not re-usable. Retention characteristics are minimized once a rod is extracted. Retainers must be replaced every time a rod is extracted.

2. Install lock rod to latch mechanism with new retainer.
3. Install door sound deadener panel at rear.
4. Install front door outer panel.
5. Verify proper outer door panel fit on all edges, adjacent panels and to lock cylinder. Adjust as necessary.
6. Verify correct and smooth operation.
