Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Move the front seat to the most forward position.




2. Remove the carpet retainer in the area surrounding the center pillar lower molding by pulling at the attaching clip locations.




3. Remove the lower portion of the lower center trim by pulling straight out.
4. Disengage the lower center trim from the upper center trim.



Installation Procedure





1. Engage the tabs that attach the lower center trim to the upper center trim.
2. Secure the lower center trim to the vehicle by gently pushing on the trim at the attaching clip locations.




3. Install the carpet retainer by gently pushing at the attaching clip locations.
4. Using a flat-blade tool, install the weatherstrip over the lower molding and the carpet retainer.
5. Place the front seat in the original position.
