P0749

DTC PARAMETERS
DTC P0749 is set when there has been a ground/open or short to voltage fault in the pressure control solenoid circuit for a time less than the time required to set
DTCs P0768 and P0747, twice per ignition cycle.

TEST DESCRIPTION
This DTC indicates an intermittent condition. Refer to P0746, P0747 and P0748 for circuits that may have
intermittent faults. Also refer to diagnostic aids for these DTCs.

REPAIR VERIFICATION
Monitor DTC menu "Code Status" for pass since DTC clear and pass this ignition cycle. When both have passed, repair is verified.

Criteria for pass:
- Engine running
- Power present at solenoids and no active faults exist for this solenoid.
