Inner seal in differential clutch, replacement

To remove

1. Remove the Differential clutch.
2. Position the clutch on a bench.
3. Fit a 13 mm open-end wrench (A) to the clutch housing as illustrated.





4. Dislodge the stuffing box (B) using a flat screwdriver (C). Take care with the surface of the clutch housing.
5. Remove the open-end wrench (A).

To fit

1. Press the stuffing box (A) into the clutch housing by using the special tools, 8791352 and 8390114. Use a hydraulic press. Apply the oil intended for the clutch housing in order to lubricate the stuffing box, see Fluid type and capacity.
2. The stuffing box must be in uniform contact with the shaft (B).
