Main task
The inflatable curtain is a part of the entire protection in the event of side impact or a head-on collision and gives those travelling in the front and rear seat effective protection against head injury and glass fragments.

Type
The inflatable curtain comprises a woven nylon bag with volume approx. 17 liters (4D) or 30 liters (5D) and a gas generator.

The gas generator consists of a steel housing with an electric detonator, explosive charges, pressurised gas and a gas distribution unit for gas cooling and pressure distribution.

Connect
Pin 26 receives B+ current from the control module during activation. Grounding occurs via pin 27 on the control module for (732D).








Pin 29 receives B+ current from the control module during activation. Grounding occurs via pin 28 on the control module for (732P).
