Main Beam Halogen Bulb

To remove
1. Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position.
2. Open the bonnet.
3. LH: Remove the battery cover, air inlet pipe (A) and main fuse box (B).





4. Remove the bulb:





^ Remove the cover (A) and turn the bulb socket anticlockwise (B). Lift out the bulb socket.
^ Remove the bulb from the socket by carefully pulling it straight out.

To fit

IMPORTANT: When changing a bulb, select a new bulb of the correct rating to prevent the components being damaged.

1. Fit the bulb:





^ Fit the new bulb in the bulb socket. Make sure that lock lugs engage.
^ Fit the bulb socket in the headlamp by positioning it at its recess (note the guide groove). Turn the bulb socket clockwise (B) and fit the cover.

2. LH: Fit the battery cover, air inlet pipe (A) and main fuse box (B).





3. Close the bonnet.
