To remove
1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Detach the battery cables:







^ Detach the negative battery cable (A).
^ Detach the positive battery cable (B)
^ Detach the battery drain hose.

3. Undo the screw (C) to the battery's lock lug and lift out the battery.

To fit
1. Position the battery and slide it rearwards until the rear edge is fixed in place.
2. Fit the lock lug (C).

IMPORTANT: Check that the battery is properly secured.







3. Attach the battery cables:
^ Attach the positive battery cable (B)
^ Attach the negative battery cable (A).

IMPORTANT: Cars with OnStar: The battery clamp must be fitted so that no part of it extends in front of the battery.

^ Attach the battery drain hose.

4. Fit the battery cover.
5. Carry out Procedures after disconnecting the battery.
