The 6-speed automatic transmission in the Saab 9-3 MY 05 has the designation AF40 (Automatic transmission Front wheel drive).





Control module
The type designation of the transmission control module comprys two codes with two groups of characters as in the following example: WBJD 000011 and 03 07 respectively.
