Control Arm Bushing: Testing and Inspection

Rear suspension arm bush, check

Check

Important
The retaining bolt must not turn with the check-tightening torque. Do not load the bolt with a greater check-tightening torque than specified.


Important
Use a track lift for the car in order to avoid damaging the bushing.


1. Check the attachment of the suspension arm bush (A).

Checking torque 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)

Note
If the checking torque is not attained, the suspension arm bush must be set. See Rear suspension arm bush, adjusting.
