Main task
The side impact sensors detect possible impact intensity at an early stage and send information to the control module.

Type
The side impact sensors are identical and yellow in colour. They contain an acceleration and a communication circuit.

Connect
Front driver's side, impact sensor (328D) is supplied with voltage B+ to pin 2 from control module pin 73. The signal from sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 72 on the control module.












Front passenger side, impact sensor (328P) is supplied with voltage B+ to pin 2 from control module pin 70. The signal from sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 71 on the control module.







Rear driver's side, impact sensor is supplied with voltage B+ to pin 2 from control module pin 61. The signal from sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 62 on the control module.







Rear passenger side, impact sensor (328RP), left rear, has a B+ feed to pin 2 from control module pin 59. The signal from the sensor pin 1 is connected to pin 60 on the control module.
