AFL Control Module (752)

AFL Control Module (752)

Location
AFL control module (752)

Main task
The AFL control module has the same functions as AHL control module (664) plus curve lighting.

When vehicle speed exceeds approx. 10 km/h the headlamps will be angled slightly when the steering wheel is turned. The light can be angled maximum 15° to the right or left compared to a car with standard headlamps.

The control system is equipped with two load angles sensors located at the front and rear axles. The system uses information from the steering angle sensor.

Type
The control module has a microprocessor with clock, RAM memory and a flashable ROM. An internal bus connects the processor and memories with the I/O unit. The I/O unit is responsible for loading the values from the A/D converter for analogue inputs, digital inputs on the bus and for activating the transistors in the power amplifiers.
