Main task
Amplify the antenna signal from the antenna on the rear right side window.

Type
Output amplifier to strengthen a weak incoming antenna signal to a stronger signal that the infotainment head unit can use.

Connection
The antenna signal is supplied with a trigger voltage from pin 13 (K8B) on the main radio unit and is grounded through the bolt screwing it to the body. The amplified antenna signal is fed via a coaxial cable to the main radio unit.
