Control Module. Internal Fault







Fault symptom
- Airbag warning lamp is lit

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:
- Control module on-board diagnostics has detected an internal fault.

System reaction to a fault:
- The airbag system should be considered non-operational. There may, however, be some functionality.

Fault handling:
- The control module must be replaced even if the code can be cleared!
