Rear Suspension
Anti-Roll BarTo Remove
1. Raise the car and remove the rear wheels.
2. Remove the anti-roll bar retaining nuts and bolts.
3. Remove the anti-roll bar.
To Fit
1. If necessary, lubricate the anti-roll bar bushes with Molycote 33 (bushes on new anti-roll bars are already lubricated), position the anti-roll bar and fit all the bolts and nuts.
2. Tighten the nuts and bolts.
Tightening torque 50 Nm (40 ft. lbs.)
3. Fit the wheels.
Tightening torques
aluminium rim 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.)
pressed steel rim 50 Nm + 2 x 90°, max. 110 Nm (37 ft. lbs. + 2 x 90°, max. 81 ft. lbs.)
4. Lower the car to the floor.
