Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

EVAP Canister Purge Valve

To remove
1. Undo the quick-coupling on the hose with the clamp.







2. Detach the rubber valve holder from the mounting.
3. Carefully rotate the valve and unplug the connector.
4. Detach the valve from the hose.

To fit







NOTE: Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no. 30 04 520).

1. Connect the purge valve to the connecting hose.
2. Plug in the purge valve connector.
3. Fit the purge valve to the bracket.
4. Connect the quick-release coupling on the purge hose to the evaporative emission canister.
