Incorrect Indication Of "Low Washer Fluid Level. Filling Required"







Fault symptoms
The SID gives a warning of low washer fluid level despite the correct level or does not give a warning despite low level.

Diagnostic help
The washer fluid level sensor can be read using the diagnostics tool.

The message WASHER FLUID LEVEL LOW can be activated using the diagnostics tool.

Check the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, withdrawn pins and pin clamping force.
