Hydraulic body, front wheel, changing
To remove
1. Raise the car and remove the wheel.
2. Press the piston back using a pair of pliers.





3. Depress the brake pedal slightly, using a brake pedal clamp.





4. Remove fuse No. 1 for the brake lights.
5. Disconnect the hose from the hydraulic body.





6. Remove the protective caps and the two hydraulic body guide pins.

To fit
1. Fit the brake caliper and tighten its two guide pins to torque.
Tightening torque 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.)





2. Connect the hose to the brake caliper.
Tightening torque 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)

Important: Bear in mind the twisting of the hose so that it is not refitted incorrectly.

3. Remove the brake pedal clamp and put back the fuse.





4. Bleed the brake system.
5. Fit the front wheels.
Tightening torques
aluminium wheel 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.)
steel wheel 50 Nm +2x90°, max. 110 Nm (37 ft. lbs. +2x90°, max. 81 ft. lbs.)
6. Lower the car to the floor and depress the brake pedal to force out the brake pistons.
7. Check the brake fluid level and top up if necessary.
