A-Pillar Trim



A-pillar Trim

To remove

WARNING: Take care not to damage or loosen the energy absorbers. Damaged or loose energy absorbers must not be refitted. If the occasion should arise, the entire headlining must be changed. Damaged energy absorbers may impair head protection in case of a collision.

1. Remove the door weatherseal from the A pillar.
2. Pull the trim off the A pillar (fastened with clips).







3. Remove the upper clips from the trim.

NOTE: It is important that the strap on the clip is intact and that the clip is not removed from the pillar.

4. Lift out the trim.

To fit

WARNING: Take care not to damage or loosen the energy absorbers. Damaged or loose energy absorbers must not be refitted. If the occasion should arise, the entire headlining must be changed. Damaged energy absorbers may impair head protection in case of a collision.

1. Fit the bottom of the trim in place.







2. Fit the clip with the strap downwards in the trim.

NOTE: It is important that the strap on the clip is intact.

3. Press the trim into all the clips.
4. Fit the door weatherseal.

NOTE: Check that the door sealing moulding fits correctly.
