Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Actuator: Service and Repair

Boot Lid 4D, Lock Motor

To remove

1. Remove the Boot lid trim, 4D.
2. Remove the cover.







3. Turn the clip holding the locking rod to the lock motor driver.







4. Take out the locking rod.
5. Pull out the centre pin from the driver and remove the driver.
6. Undo the lock motor screw.
7. Lift out the lock motor and unplug the connector.

To fit

1. Plug in the connector and fit the motor in place. Insert the screw.







2. Fit the driver.
3. Fit the lock rod in the driver.
4. Fit the cover.







5. Insert the motor's screw. Tighten both screws.
6. Fit the Boot lid trim, 4D
