Selector fork, replacement

To remove
1. Remove the gearbox. See Gearbox assembly.
2. Remove the gearcase. See Gearcase, seal.





3. Remove input shaft, lower main shaft and gear lever shaft, 1st/2nd - 5th/6th. Remove the shafts together.





4. Remove selector fork, 1st/2nd and 5th/6th.





5. Remove upper main shaft with gear lever shaft, 3rd/4th/reverse gear.





6. Remove selector fork, 3rd/4th and the reverse gear
7. Clean the sealing surfaces.

To fit





1. Assemble selector fork, 3rd/4th and the reverse gear.





2. Fit the upper main shaft with gear lever shaft, 3rd/4th/reverse gear.





3. Assemble selector fork, 1st/2nd and 5th/6th.





4. Fit the drive shaft, the lower main shaft and gear lever shaft, 1st/2nd - 5th/6th. Remove the shafts together.
5. Fit the gearcase. See Gearcase, seal.
6. Fit the gearbox. See Gearbox assembly.
