Gearbox mating face

The gearbox has only two mating faces. The mating face between the clutch housing and the gearcase is sealed with sealant and the mating face between the gearcase and end cover is sealed with a gasket.. Ventilation and bleeding take place by means of a "labyrinth" in the upper section of the gearcase where a filter (sintered plug), for disposal of dirty moisture, is located.
