Front Suspension



Bush, Front Anti-roll Bar, Changing

To Remove
1. Raise the car.
2. Diesel: Remove the lower engine cover.
3. Mark the position of the rear subframe bush relative to the body.






4. Remove the rear bolts from the subframe.
5. Remove the reinforcement stays.
6. Place 83 95 238 Wedge between the subframe and the body.






7. Remove the rear bolt from the cap.
8. Undo the cap's front bolt several turns.
9. Remove the cap and bush.

To Fit
1. Grease the inside of the bushes with 30 20 476 Ball bearing grease.






2. Fit the bushes and caps.
3. Fit and tighten the bolts.
4. Raise the subframe towards the body and markings using a column jack.






5. Fit the reinforcement stays and tighten the bolts.
Tightening torque, subframe: 75 Nm +135° (55 ft. lbs. +135°)
Tightening torque, stay: 90 Nm +45° (66 ft. lbs. +45°)
6. Diesel: Fit the lower engine cover.
7. Lower the car to the floor.
