Front Arm, Rear Bush

Suspension arm bush, rear
To remove
1. Raise the car.
2. Remove the front wheel.
3. Remove the bolt securing the rear bush to the suspension arm.





4. Remove the bolts securing the rear bush to the subframe.
5. Prise out the suspension arm from the subframe and remove the bush from the suspension arm. Retain the conical washer.

To fit
1. Prise out the suspension arm and fit the conical washer and bush to the suspension arm. Turn the conical section to the suspension arm. Fit the bolt using 74 96 268 Thread locking adhesive and tighten the bush so that it attains the correct axial position but can still be turned.
2. Fit the bush to the subframe.
Tightening torque 65 Nm +90° (48 ft. lbs. +90°)





3. Remove the anti-roll bar link from the anti-roll bar and lift the suspension arm up to normal position.
4. Hold the flat washer firmly with pliers while tightening the bolt which holds the rear bush to the suspension arm.
Tightening torque 40 Nm +30° (30 ft. lbs. +30°)
5. Fit the anti-roll bar link.
Tightening torque 64 Nm (47 ft. lbs.)
6. Fit the wheel.
7. Lower the car to the floor.
8. Carry out Four wheel alignment.
