The right and left-hand inserts are different. They have the same code but different part numbers.

6 Shock absorber, back

At the very bottom of the VIN plate there is a row of characters which describe which chassis configuration (springs and dampers) the vehicle has.

These designations refer to the EPC.

If all or parts of the code are missing contact your importer. The importer will contact the Products Improvement Process (PIP) or Parts Assistance Centre (PAC), who will establish the pertinent details and order a new plate.
