Main Task
Used as general front roof lighting.

Type
Two lamps and a switch are integrated in the front roof console. The switch has three positions, 1, 0 and 2. In the centre position (0), lighting is controlled automatically based on the doors and key position. In the rear position (1), the lights are off. Lights are continuously on in the front position (2).

Connection

The lamps are grounded with PWM from BCM via REC. The lamps are supplied power from a relay controlled by BCM. The supply voltage lead passes through BCM and REC on its way to the lamps. BCM takes a reading from the lead to determine whether the switch has suddenly been moved to the front position when the relay is not activated.
