Motor, Air Mixing Damper, MCC (222)

Main function
The motor is connected by linkage which controls the air mixing damper.







Type
The DC motor has a fixed position sensor (potentiometer) which provides information regarding damper position.







Connection

DC motor
The motor is connected to MCC unit pins 13 and 16. The output polarity is reversed in order to change the motor rotation direction.










Potentiometer
The position sensor consists of a potentiometer with a 5 V feed from MCC pin 12 to potentiometer pin 1 and which is connected to ground via pin 3 from MCC unit pin 7.

Potentiometer pin 2 supplies a voltage for MCC pin 6 between 0-5 volts which represents the motor position.
