Radiator, Drain Cock And Guide Pin

1. Identify the type of plastic. See Plastic codes, temperature and welding wire or Plastic code table.
2. Select the correct welding wire and set the welding gun to an operating temperature appropriate for the plastic type. See Plastic codes, temperature and welding wire.
3. Position the component and tack it in place.







4. Weld the component using welding wire.







5. Allow the weld to cool.
6. Grind the weld as necessary.







NOTE: The plastic marking on a radiator may appear as follows:
PA - T 20, where 20 indicates the percentage of filler material. Only radiators with max. 30% filler material can be welded. A radiator marked PA - T 40, for example, must not be welded.
