Fault symptom
"No OnStar" shown on SID

Conditions
- The car is within an area of coverage for the service.
- The car's OnStar system is registered with OnStar.
- No DTCs stored with the fault symptom in question.
- The diagnostic tool is communicating with the control module.

Diagnostic help
To show "OnStar" on SID, the system must be registered and the car must be within the coverage area so that the service is functioning. "No OnStar" will normally be displayed when the car is outside the coverage area, the signal is weak and the telephone call has been disconnected. Refer to the owner's manual for more information.
