Principal use
This control module calculates the distance to the closest object behind the vehicle based on the values given by the distance sensors. The distance is indicated to the closest object by acoustic signals on the speakers.

Type
The control module consists of a microprocessor with a clock, RAM and I/O unit. An internal bus links the processor and memory to the I/O unit. The I/O unit is responsible for reading values from A/D converters for digital inputs and bus and for activating the transistors in the final stages; see Control modules, general description . The distance sensors communicate via a two-way communication bus between the sensors and the control module.

Power supply, ground and bus communication
