Fault symptom
- The car will not start.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Once per driving cycle.

Enable criteria:
- Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:
- CIM does not recognise T8.
- The immobilization codes in T8 and the CIM do not correlate.

Dependent:
- None

System reaction to a fault:
- Starter motor cannot be started.

OK report:
- Fault criteria NOT fulfilled.

Diagnostic help
- Both T8 and CIM are programmed but one of the units is in the wrong car.
