Lock-up. Mechanical Fault.







Fault symptom
- Messages shown in SID.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Engine running and not in limp home mode.

The following diagnostic trouble codes may not be generated:
- Gearbox Input RPM
- Output speed.
- Gear selector position sensor
- Gearbox Fluid Temperature Sensor
- Battery Voltage. Too High.
- Solenoid SLT
- Engine RPM
- Wheel speed fault
- Pedal Position Sensor
- Engine Torque
- Solenoid S1
- Solenoid S2
- Solenoid S3
- Solenoid S4
- Solenoid S5

Fault criteria:
- TCM registers rapid speed changes on the output shaft or TCM registers a difference greater than 100 rpm between input shaft speed and engine rpm.

System reaction to a fault:
- Excluded Lock-Up function.
- Poor shifting quality.
