SCL Internal Failure







Fault symptom
- Messages shown in SID.
- Steering column lock not working.
- Cannot turn key.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Diagnostics runs when key is inserted.

Fault criteria:
- Hall sensor locked, incorrect signal.

System reaction to a fault:
- Steering column lock deactivated.
- DTC B3948 generated in CIM.

- Diagnostic trouble code can be generated with low battery voltage.

- Electrical fault in the component.
