Control Module. Internal Fault







Fault symptom
- ABS warning lamp on
- TCS/ESP warning lamp comes on.
- Messages shown in SID.
- Steering column lock not working.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:
- Control module detects a speed variation among the different wheel sensors

System reaction to a fault:
- No ABS function
- No TCS/ESP function

Diagnostic help

Diagnosis regards:

IMPORTANT: The DTC can be generated if standard sensor diagnosis does not detect the fault.

The DTC can be generated due to:
- One of the sensors' signal leads has an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
- One of the sensors if faulty.
