Fault symptom
- Messages shown in SID.
- Engine does not start.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Diagnostics runs when key is inserted.

Fault criteria:
- Immobilizer code from PDM absent.

System reaction to a fault:
- No request for starter motor cranking sent from CIM.
