- Diagnostics is carried out each time the key is inserted in the ignition switch.

Enable criteria:
- Key in ignition switch.

Fault criteria:
- Incorrect transponder identification.

System reaction to a fault:
- None

- A trouble code is generated if a key from another car is inserted in the ignition switch.
