TSL Motor Circuit, Short to Ground

Fault symptom
- TSL out of order.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- When request for TSL activation issued.

Enable criteria:
- When the car is locked/unlocked.

- The following DTCs are generated at the same time as this DTC:
- B3963

Fault criteria:
- Control module input short circuit to ground.

System reaction to a fault:
- When the fault is not active, the locking motor attempts to lock.

Checking the wiring harness
- Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.

- Electrical fault in connecting leads or component.
