Pump Motor Right Turn Circuit, Short to Ground







Fault symptom
- Soft top cannot be operated
- Messages shown in SID.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Ignition ON.
- Output activated.

- The following diagnostic trouble codes may not be generated:
- B3682

Fault criteria:
- Output voltage is below 1.6 V ± 0.2 V

Checking the wiring harness
- Jiggle the wiring harness at several points to detect intermittent breaks or short circuits. Check also the connector for oxidation or loose pins.
