Fault symptom
- Messages shown in SID.
- Key cannot be turned in ignition switch.
- Engine does not start.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Diagnostics is carried out each time the key is inserted in the ignition switch.

Enable criteria:
- Key in ignition switch.

Fault criteria:
- No transponder detected.

System reaction to a fault:
- None

- The DTC is generated if an object is forced into the ignition lock.
