Fault symptom
- Trip odometer cannot be reset.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Diagnostics runs when the Reset button is depressed.

Enable criteria:
- Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:
- Incorrect signal from Reset button.

System reaction to a fault:
- In the event of a fault, the control unit switches off trip odometer display 120 s after the ignition is switched off.

Diagnostic help

Diagnosis regards:
- Mechanical fault (button stuck) or internal fault in MID.
