Position Sensor Power Supply Circuit, Short to Ground







Fault symptom
- No memory functions work
- Seat can jerk during start and stop.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:
- Output voltage is less than 1.2 ± 0.2V.

System reaction to a fault:
- Memory functions not working
- The control module loses end position calibration for the motor in question.

Diagnostic help

Diagnosis regards:
- Electrical fault in connecting leads or component.
