Switch, Backrest Layback Circuit, Signal Invalid







Fault symptom
- The button is considered inactive until it is released and activated again.
- The engine can temporarily go in the opposite direction

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- When seat operation is permitted.

Fault criteria:
- Backrest back button has stuck (been active for more than 60 s). Alternatively, backrest forward button and backrest back button are both active.

System reaction to a fault:
- The button is considered inactive until it is released and activated again.
- The engine can temporarily go in the opposite direction

Diagnostic help

Diagnosis regards:
- Detecting an electrical or mechanical fault on the button.
