Switch Height Up Circuit, Signal Invalid







Fault symptom
- The button is considered inactive until it is released and activated again.
- The engine can temporarily go in the opposite direction

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- When seat operation is permitted.

Fault criteria:
- UP button is stuck or UP and DOWN buttons are active at the same time.

System reaction to a fault:
- The button is considered inactive until it is released and activated again.
- The engine can temporarily go in the opposite direction

Diagnostic help
- A trouble code is generated also when the button is activated for more than 60 s.

Diagnosis regards:
- Detecting an electrical or mechanical fault on the button.
