Speaker Rear Left, Short Between + and -







Fault symptom
- No sound from the left-hand rear loudspeaker.

On-board diagnosis

Enable criteria:
- O-bus active.

Fault criteria:
- Resistance too low.

System reaction to a fault:
- Internal amplifier switched off by voltage or overheating protection.

Checking the wiring harness
- Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.

- Electrical fault in connecting leads or component.
