Fault symptom
- "On Star System Malfunction. Contact Service." shown on SID.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:
- Continuous

Enable criteria:
- Ignition ON.

Fault criteria:
- Control module on-board diagnostics has detected a EEPROM error.

Diagnostic help
- Replace ECU
- See "Procedure for control module replacement"
