Fuel Door Release Cable: Service and Repair

Hood Lock And Remote Openers:

FUEL FLAP OPENER

REMOVAL

Remove the rear seat.
Remove the center pillar lower trim, and remove the side sill cover on passenger side. Remove the rear pillar lower trim. Pull back the floor mat. Remove the clip holding the cable.
Remove the bolt. Remove the pull handle assembly.







Remove the cable from pull handle assembly.
Remove the right rear quarter trim.
Rotate the fuel lock inside the quarter panel to left and remove.







INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

INSPECTION

Make sure the fuel filler flap lid opens and closes smoothly.
