Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Door Lock Assembly:

REMOVAL

Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
Remove the front door trim.
Remove the sealing cover.
Remove the front inner remote.
Remove three screws and a bolt.







Remove the front door latch assembly, and then disconnect the connector.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE: Make sure the lock works properly after installation.

INSPECTION

Make sure the rod is not deformed.
Make sure the outer handle, inner remote handle and rod work smoothly.
