No Or Poor Sound When Using Navigation







Fault symptom
No or poor sound from one or more speakers when using navigation.

Preconditions
Ignition ON.

Conditions
Switch Nav/Tele must be connected. There must be a power supply and grounding. Check both connectors for faulty pins and oxidation.

Diagnostic help
Sound works properly in radio mode.

Reset the system before starting fault diagnosis and recalibrate.

Check switches for oxidation and faulty pins. Check several points and directions of the wiring harness to detect any intermittent open or short-circuits.
